Raju and shaju decided to sell bikes each at 60000 taka, while Raju give discount of 10% on fast 10000, 5% on next 10000, 5% to rest of the price to sabir buyer. Saju decided to give a discount 10% to fast 10000, 5% on next 10000, 10% to rest price to buyer Rakib. this discounts were, however, subject to the buyers making the payment on time and failing would make the discount gets reduced by 1% for every delay of a week. In each case, the selling price of 60000 was arrived at by increasing the cost price 20%.

B》If Sabir defaults by 1 and 2 weeks in the 2nd and the 3rd payment respectively what would be the profit of Raju in the sale of the bike?
A) Solution:
Here , MP (each) = 60000 Tk.
CP at 20% => 60000×5/6 = 50000 TK. each.
1st Case, Raju to Sabir , Discount =>
10% on 10000 = 1000
5 % on 10000 = 500
5% on 40000 = 2000
Total = 3500
Sabir Pay to Raju = 60000-3500 = 56500
Profit % for Raju = 56500-50000/50000 = 13%
2nd Case, Saju to Rakib , Discount =>
10% on 10000 = 1000
5 % on 10000 = 500
10 % on 40000 = 4000
Total = 5500
Rakib Pay to Saju = 60000-5500 = 54500
Profit % for Saju = 54500-50000/50000 = 9%
Hence, 13% > 9% ie , Raju's profit is higher than Saju. [ANS]

Raju to Sabir , Discount =>
10% on 10000 = 1000
(5-1) 4% on 10000 = 400[ ১ ম সপ্তাহ, তাই 1% কমবে ]
(5-2)3% on 40000 = 1200 [ ২য় সপ্তাহ, তাই 1+1 = 2% কমবে ]
Discount = 2600
Sabir Pay to Raju = 60000-2600 = 57400
Profit for Raju = 57400-50000 = 7400 [Ans]
C) A company has 5 Departments and 75 employees. If the number of employees of each department is in consecutive odd number, what is the probability of a given employee is from the largest two departments?
Solution:
Let , In 1st dept was X employee
A/Q,
X + X+2 + X+4 + X+6 + X+8 = 75
=> 5X + 20 = 75
=> 5X = 55
=> X = 11
Total number of employees of largest two departments => (X+6)+(X+8) =(11+6)+(11+8) = 17 + 19 = 36
