Vacancy: Assistant Medical Officer
Number of posts: 01
Description: MBBS degree with at least two years of experience
Salary: BDT 29,75
Age: Under 32 years (as of June 30)
Age: 18 years 6 months to 21 years (21 to 18 years in case of candidates working in the Armed Forces) affidavit is not acceptable on January 1, 2021.
Male - Height: 182 cm / 5 feet 4 inches, Weight: 50 kg, Chest size: Normal 8 cm / 30 inches (extended 61 cm / 32 inches)
Female - Height: 158 cm / 5 feet 2 inches, Weight: 48 kg, Breast Size: Normal 71 cm / 26 inches (extended 6 cm / 30 inches)
Excess weight of the scale prescribed for the Armed Forces according to height and age will be considered ineligible
Educational qualifications are minimum
Passed Secondary and Higher Secondary Science or equivalent examination with a minimum GPA of 4.50. Both exams require a minimum GPA of 4.00 in Mathematics and Physics or, for English medium candidates, a minimum of three of the six subjects at the level of "A" grade and two of the "B" grade and at least two of the subjects for this level "B" Passed the grade (both exams including Physics and Mathematics).
Candidates working in the Armed Forces have passed the Navy High Level Examination or equivalent Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Air Force Examination (Candidate must be in Science Department in SSC). Candidates who have passed the HSC examination in 2021 can also apply.

Nationality: Bangladeshi male and female citizens
Disqualification
Dismissed or removed from the Army, Navy and Air Force or any government job
If rejected by ISSB
If disqualified by the Medical Board of the Army, Navy and Air Force
If convicted from any court
Incomplete, defective and multiple applications in one name will be considered rejected
Nomination procedure
Primary health examination and preliminary interview: Primary health examination and preliminary interview will be held in Dhaka, Chittagong and Khulna centers.
Written Test: The written test on the intelligence and English and general knowledge of the candidates considered suitable for the primary health test and preliminary interview will be held at the mentioned centers.
Examination and Interview by ISSB: Candidates who have passed the written examination will be examined and interviewed by ISSB at the Inter-Army Selection Board, Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka.
Final Health Examination: Candidates have to participate in the final health examination during the ISSB examination. The final nomination of suitable candidates for the final health examination will be held by December 2021.
Joining the Naval Academy: The final nominated candidate will join the Bangladesh Naval Academy, Patenga, Chittagong as an officer cadet in the first week of July 2021.
Training or commission
Regular commission will be given to the post of Sub-Lieutenant in Bangladesh Navy after completing three (10) weeks training at Bangladesh Military Academy and 16 months as Officer Cadet and 18 months as Midshipment at Bangladesh Naval Academy.
Apart from professional training in the academy, cadets kept executive will be awarded BSc Honors in Maritime Science and BBA degree in Supply will be given to cadets from Bangladesh University of Professional. Cadets in Engineering Electrical will be awarded BSc Engineering degree from BUET / Military Institute of Science and Technology.
Salary allowance
Officers will receive salary allowance according to the salary order of the Armed Forces along with other benefits prescribed by the government. You will receive a higher scale salary after being promoted as a midshipman.
Collection and filling of application form
Online Application Procedure: Applicants must follow the application procedure by entering the Navy website and clicking the Apply Now button on the home page. Payment can be completed through online banking, mobile banking at the last stage of application.
At this stage, the candidates can use the credit or debit card provided by any bank and mobile banking such as bKash, Rocket, Sure Cash etc. and pay a non-refundable application fee of BDT 700 without charge.
As soon as the application process is completed, the candidate should download the call-up letter and personal information form for the initial interview and bring it along with other necessary documents during the next initial interview.
